Job Title: Speech Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders to help them improve their speech and language skills. The Speech Therapist will conduct evaluations, create customized treatment plans, and work closely with patients to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the nature and severity of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in one-on-one or group settings
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations
- Stay current on new research and techniques in the field of speech therapy

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with patients with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Working Conditions:
The Speech Therapist will typically work in a healthcare facility, such as a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation center.
